Studying God's Word is an important part of the Women's Ministry here at Crossroads. Several times a year we launch new studies to encourage women to come on board in the pursuit of God's Word. Our studies launch in September, January and June each year.

Over the years we have studied through the video teachings of Kay Arthur (Precept Ministries), Beth Moore (Living Proof Ministries), Priscilla Shirer (Going Beyond Ministries) and a host of other women. The studies meet on Tuesday mornings, Tuesday evenings, and on occasion, another day of the week. Each study ranges between 6 to 12 weeks long, and averages around 2 hours in length.

Precept Studies

Begins June 4th, meeting from 9-11am.

The first three weeks in June  we will be studying:  Titus -  Developing Character and Integrity in the Midst of a Society    Which Has Lost Respect for God (3 lessons) - How do you live with integrity in a nation without morals? Can the church effectively engage and change this destructive condition in our society? How does your life reflect your faith? You can change the culture into which God has called you.

The first three weeks in July we will study Lamentations - Hope and Healing in the Aftermath of Rebellion Against God (3 lessons)- How do people survive when they have no hope? Where do they turn when there's nothing but misery all around them? In whom do you put your trust and hope? The only true hope Christians have is in the Lord. Study Lamentations and get a glimpse of the God whose compassions never fail.

Tuesday Morning Bible Studies

Begins June 4th, meeting from 9:30-11:30am.

5 Conversations you must have with your daughter - 6 weeks (will not meet on June 25);For moms of girls to age 18.  Your daughter's growing up. The world has a lot to say to her, and she's starting to listen. Even if she doesn't quite know it, she needs you more than ever. It's time for you to press in, to tell her some things she might not know (or might have forgotten) about who she is in God's eyes. Just five conversations, but they could be the basis for a whole new way of relating to your daughter.

5 Conversations You Must Have with Your Son - 6 weeks (will not meet on June 25); For moms of boys to age 18. A women's Bible study for moms who desire to help their sons build foundations of faith that will equip them throughout their lives. This study helps to prepare you to talk to your son about the tough topics — because even though knowing what to say or how to say it can be hard, there's no one better to teach him about life, love, and faith than you.

Wonderstruck - Awaken to the nearness of God: 7 weeks (will not meet on June 25) -  Filmed in the spectacular Canadian Rockies that will remind you what it means to awaken to wonder—every day. Do you ever feel like you're going through the motions of faith? Sometimes we do and say the right things, but our hearts are far from God. We lose our sense of holy awe. In this study you will be invited to toss aside the covers, climb out of bed, and drink in the fullness of life God intended.

For the Children - Terrific Tuesdays!!!

This is only for the children of women participating in one of the above Bible Studies.

Childcare is available for those 2 and under.     

For those K3-5th grade, we host an activity, bible story, game, refreshment and song time that is coordinated with our central theme. Each week will be like a mini VBS for the children. This summer we will need to charge a flat rate of $5.00 (for one child) $8.00 (for two or more) to cover the cost of hiring additional workers, supplies for crafts, drinks and snacks to the group of children enrolled.
