Welcome Guests!

Visiting a new church, exploring who they are without making a social faux pas can be highly stressful.  This page should help you figure out what to expect.  If it doesn’t, feel free to call before you visit and we’ll answer whatever questions you have.

Here is what you can expect on a Sunday morning.

We are located at 505 Gahagan Road in Summerville just off the Berlin G. Myers Parkway.

Visitor Parking is available directly in front of our sanctuary, the Christian Life Center.  There are also spaces in front of the sanctuary reserved for individuals with wheelchairs or needing assistance to our wheelchair accessible front door.  The ramp is to the right.

Our ushers and greeters have gray name-tags identifying them and they’ll be happy to help you get oriented.

Classes for children and educational options are available during both the 9:00 and 10:45 services. A map and schedule are below or you may inquire at the Welcome Desk for directions.  You’ll need to fill out a form for each child on your first visit.  You can print out the forms attached below and have them ready on Sunday morning to save time if you prefer.

Our Visitor Center (first room on the right before you enter the sanctuary) is there with friendly faces to answer any questions you may have.  Stop in to start getting connected.

Our Sunday Morning Classes

At Crossroads Community Church, we have classes for all ages. Some adult classes (called Connect Classes) work through scripture verse by verse, while other classes are more topically oriented, helping people deal with issues important to them.  To find out what class best fits your needs, click the All Ministries tab. If you would like more information about the classes themselves, feel free to contact us at the church office at 871-2755 or This email address is being protected from spambots. Our Children

We understand that your most precious blessings from God are your children. And for that reason, we have well-qualified caregivers, teachers, and workers in each class. Each one is a faithful member of Crossroads Community Church and has been interviewed and trained for their positions. Every person that works on our children's ministries (which includes our Student Ministries), has taken a child protection class as well as a South Carolina Department of Public Safety background check.  We take the safety of your children seriously.

Preschoolers

Preschoolers (birth-K4) meet in the Education Building (closest to Gahagan Rd.). Signs above each door help parents find their child's class.  For more information, contact preschool director, Cassie Ford, 871-2755.

K5 through 5th Grade

Children in K5 – 5th grade meet in the Administration/Children’s Building (farthest from Gahagan Rd.) and are placed in age-appropriate classes.  For more information, contact children’s program director Debi Ford, 871-2755. E-mail her at   This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Youth

Youth 6th Grade through High School meet in the Youth Building at 9AM and follow that with corporate worship at 10:45.  Our youth love the high energy fellowship and worship (and food).  We have a great staff of teachers that love the kids and sharing God’s Word with them. Synergy meets Wednesday nights from 6-8.

Our Service

Crossroad’s worship service is informal.  Suits and ties are the exception and socks are optional.  We start with contemporary worship and then an opportunity to meet new people.  Our pastor, Peppy DuTart, teaches the whole counsel of God’s Word.  He is currently leading us through I Corinthians.  You can listen to a recent sermon on podcast

Our Community

Crossroads members are involved in a variety of ministries from the Crossroads Motorcycle Ministry to Mothers of Pre-Schoolers we have something for just about everyone.  We welcome you use the gifts God has given you to minister to others as well.

Our Desire

At Crossroads, our desire is that you find a home church where you can pray, worship, learn and serve.  Join us next Sunday and see if this is the place for you to do just that.
