Kidsroad is the name of our ministry to children aged birth through 5th grade. It encompasses ministry on Sunday mornings, during the week through The Oaks Christian School, Wednesday nights through AWANA, Friday Nights through Girls with Heart and through special events. We believe:
- that its our responsibility to provide a safe and friendly environment for
children to experience Christ's love. - that it is our responsibility to come alongside parents in nurturing spiritual
maturity in their children and to assist the parent by providing care as the
parent seeks opportunities to grow spiritually - that it is our responsibility to provide a solid Biblical foundation for the
children through our teaching of Bible truths in our three children's programs
We want the time spent here, away from parents, to also be fun for the child in all of our different programs. We encourage you to visit us to see where your child best fits in.
“Even a child is known by his deeds, Whether what he does is pure and right.” Proverbs 20:11
Sunday School- for all ages. Where children are taught the truths of God’s Word so that they might apply these truths in their lives and come to understand His great plan for their salvation. (Meets each Sunday morning.)
The Oaks Christian School- for K3-8th graders. Where the principles of truth are taught alongside the basics. The Oaks honors parents as the primary educator of their children; we therefore count it a privilege to assist parents in their responsibility. We sensitively and professionally serve students so that they might acquire wisdom, knowledge, and a Biblical worldview as evidenced by a lifestyle of character, leadership, service, stewardship and worship. (Meets each day of the school calendar.)
AWANA- for K2-5th graders. Where children are taught to know, love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ in their homes, communities, and the world. (Meets each Wednesday night from September through May.)
Girls with Heart - for girls in 4th and 5th grade. This is where girl’s are taught to understand and honor God’s purpose for their lives as girls, to be keepers of the home, to develop relationships with one another, and to show Christ’s love by serving others. (meets on the 2nd Friday of each month during the school year and additional times each month through the summer.)
Special Events - At various times of the year, we offer special events to encourage our children to reach out to others and invite them to learn about “the Christ who saves”.
